Facial Rashes Information and Treatment

Facial rashes , by virtue of their visibility, can cause significant distress to the patient and this should never be underestimated. Facial inflammatory dermatoses can be difficult to diagnose in their early stages skin biopsy may help but often shows indeterminate features. Some forms include pustules, scales, crusts, and hives. Facial rashes often cause diagnostic confusion but a close examination of the clinical signs should help differentiate the underlying cause. There are many types of facial rashes like Rosacea, buttrefly etc. It is sometimes also called as butterfly rash, which is a red, flat facial rash over the bridge of the nose. It is characterised by the accumulation of fluid in the face, which may extend to the neck and upper arms. All facial rashes can cause significant distress to the patient and this should never be underestimated.
